Project 1 : A Personal Space
Project 1 deals with user experience that requires students to design a personal space which is intended for a specific user based on an in-depth study of the user's need. it is to develop awareness of environmental sustainability in a design and student's ability to meet imperative and inter- related social needs. In addition, the project will prepare students to programmatic requirements of specific group of users for Project 2.
Objectives & Learning Outcomes

To develop awareness of environmental sustainability in architectural design.

To develop the student's ability to meet imperative and inter related environmental and social needs, as well as make poetry with the buildings.

To further develop understandings on human scale, proportion, ergonomic and materiality.

Identify and analyze environmental qualities and contextual need of a site (Human environment within an architectural space).
Project 2A : Site Analyze Presentation
Site Analysis for the following project, which is at Taman Kanagapuram, Old Klang Road, Selangor.
Project 2B : Center For The Elderly
The project calls for an elderly center in a suburban area with some complexity that includes the complexity of site topography and vegetation and socio-cultural events. Students are required to provide full design proposal incorporating precedent study and site analysis at appropriate level of presentation. it explores design solution that harness environment qualities and conditions for human and environment sustainability. Students explore design solution that reduce environment impact utilizing clustered spatial typology and passive energy. The design should contribute to and merge harmoniously with nature and the site, and provide the best of experiences for the users.

Personal interpretation of the site.
The site, which is located in a residential area, gives me a feeling like it's forgotten. The community at the site is mainly older generations, and there are very few entertainments and activities happening around the site. The buildings are not developed, and the most of the younger generations left and develop themselves in the city. All there is left is a peaceful environment, old people, and their hope to interact with the younger generations.

Throughout this semester, it is about creating a space/ furniture for the elderly. In project one, i have learnt to be more specific in creating a space for an old folks, spatial planning is important as well, as if they were given a space and spending their time in such specific space. We will have to develop their interests and also extraordinary personalities. Furthermore, in project two which is about designing an elderly center in suburban area with some complexity in the complexity of site topography and vegetation and social-cultural events. I have broaden my knowledge by learning the importance of environmental sustainability as well as the space planning of cluster buildings.
